Building Better Coalitions: How to build coalitions that people don’t hate!
Watch livestream of this session!
None of us would disagree with the adage “there is power in coalition”. The advantages of working in coalition are pretty clear: They can help us collectively WIN on issues we couldn’t on our own, build relationships with organizations we wouldn’t otherwise work with, expand our resources,...the list goes on. Nonetheless, many of us have had some pretty BAD experiences working in coalition — When they aren’t run well, coalitions can be frustrating, time-consuming, and unproductive spaces. In this workshop you will learn how to build strong coalitions that people actually WANT to participate in!
